Stanley G. Breakell - Chairman of the Board, CEO
Stan joined the firm, founded by his father, in 1975 after graduating from the University of Virginia with a degree in mechanical engineering. Today Stan provides the vision and leadership that drives Breakell to explore new ways of approaching construction and construction management through the use of technology and sustainable business/building practices. Stan is active in the Roanoke community, serving on numerous boards, including his current positions as Chairman of the Roanoke Public Library Board and Director on both the Roanoke Valley Cool Cities Coalition Board and Western Virginia Land Trust Board. Stan recently received the prestigious Elizabeth Cabell Dugdale Award for Conservation given by The Garden Club of Virginia for his commitment to environmental stewardship.

James G. Breakell - President
With nineteen years of experience in construction project management, James has a proven track record of client satisfaction, outstanding resource allocation and job profitability. As President, James is responsible for growing and securing new business, continuing his efforts as a liaison to the leaders of the local business community, and providing field production oversight. A native of Roanoke, a graduate of The University of Georgia and an active member of many local charities, environmental coalitions and civic clubs, James’ talents are integral to the success of Breakell Inc.

Jeffrey M. McClellan - Executive V. P. and COO
Jeff joined Breakell Inc. in 1997 as a project manager and was tasked with developing the process mechanical division. Over the years his extensive experience in civil and mechanical construction projects has been instrumental in the successful performance of work for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and numerous industrial and municipal projects. Recently promoted to vice president, Jeff will oversee day-to-day field operations, safety compliance, training, workforce development and tool and equipment management. Jeff’s broad construction knowledge and leadership skills will be a valuable asset in the future growth of the company. |

Nell Boyle – Director of Sustainable Practices
In spring of 2007, Nell joined Breakell to further its mission to adopt sustainable building practices and environmental stewardship. In this unprecedented role, Nell’s responsibilities include: serving as an internal resource for environmentally responsible office procedures and purchases; administering current information on products; technology and legislation and the promotion of green building in the community through community education and awareness. Nell has earned the designation of LEED Accredited Professional and consults with clients and architects regarding green building practices.

Vickie Damico – Director of Marketing
As Director of Marketing, Vickie participates in all strategic planning and manages the implementation of marketing initiatives. She directs all internal, prospect, customer, industry and media communications, as well as managing Breakell’s participation in industry and community events. Before joining Breakell in 2001, Vickie enjoyed a successful career in television and advertising. She is a graduate of Radford College, since renamed Radford University.

Angela Jamison, CPA - Controller
Angela brings more than ten years of experience in finance and accounting to her position as controller at Breakell Inc. Angela is responsible for accounting, audit, regulatory compliance, payroll and human resources. She also serves as a consultant with Breakell’s IT Business Solutions division and is a Microsoft Certified Business Management Solutions Specialist. A Certified Public Accountant, Angela graduated magna cum laude from the University of Delaware.
